Between St Emilion and Bergerac, barely an hour from Bordeaux, in the heart of the countryside, at the very end of a cul-de-sac – yet just 10 minutes from the nearest shops – lies the Domaine Simples et Nature.
In this haven of peace, nature reveals itself to you in all its beauty. Here, in the heart of 30 hectares of meadows and unspoilt woodland, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, time seems to stand still.
Our holiday cottage
Imagine a cosy, light-filled cottage offering views over the estate’s meadows and the hillsides of the neighbouring village.
Our comfortable and well-equipped holiday home can accommodate up to 8 people.
Whatever the season, whether you’re travelling alone, as a couple, with family or friends, the estate is the ideal place to unwind, gather your loved ones, reconnect with nature and the simple things in life, slow down and enjoy the passing of time doing whatever takes your fancy.

Activities during your stay
Take a stroll along the estate’s paths, through woods and meadows, or join the hiking routes from our paths. Observe the flora and fauna in the forest and around the ponds, sit back, watch the world go by… and savour the moment.
Beyond the estate, set off to explore the Dordogne and Gironde regions: local produce, history and heritage, and enjoy a wide range of leisure activities for all ages nearby: swimming in close by lakes, canoeing, golf, hiking, mountain biking and much more.

Local events and news
There are plenty of activities on offer for children this summer in the Bergerac region. To see everything the area has to offer, do take a look at the Bergerac Tourist Office website, here.
On September 5th, come pedal around Saint Emilion. Choose your route: Family, Long Route, or Prestige, and discover 4 to 8 châteaux depending on the route you pick, with tastings and gourmet breaks, all set to music.
